Tyronne Ebuehi joins Empoli on a three-year deal

Italian Serie A side, Empoli, have announced the signing of Super Eagles defender, Tyronne Ebuehi, on a permanent transfer from SL Benfica in Portugal.

The 26-year old joins the side on a contract until 2025, as they look to bolster their squad and improve on their 14th place finish in 2021/2022. Ebuehi spent the 2021/2022 season on loan with Venezia FC, who suffered relegation after finishing bottom of the league table.

He has made 11 appearances for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, including one at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
