OFFICIAL: Flying Eagles midfielder Daniel Daga Joins Norwegian club Molde FK

Norwegian Eliteserien club Molde FK, has officially confirmed the signing of Nigeria U20 star midfielder, Daniel Daga from FC One Rocket in Nigeria

The 18-year-old, who rose to prominence at the 2023 Under-20 FIFA World Cup, joins Molde from FC One Rocket, after a loan spell with NPFL club, Enyimba.

The young midfielder has already demonstrated his potential on the international stage, helping Nigeria reach the quarterfinals of the Under-20 World Cup. 

His performances while on loan at Enyimba also caught the attention of scouts, leading to his transfer to Molde.

 

At Molde, Daga will link up with a team that is no stranger to nurturing Nigerian talent. 

The Eliteserien has a proven track record of developing players from the West African nation, with stars like Victor Boniface, Akor Adams, and Gift Orban all plying their trade in Norway before moving on to bigger leagues.

Daga is expected to join Molde's first team immediately and could make his unofficial debut in the club's friendly match against Traeff on January 28. 

The 2025 Norwegian Eliteserien is yet to begin, but Molde is still competing in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
