Nigeria's U20 team, the Flying Eagles, have been drawn into a challenging group for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place in Cote d'Ivoire from April 26 to May 18 2025.

The seven-time champions will face stiff competition from Egypt, South Africa, and Morocco in Group B.

The Flying Eagles will be looking to build on their third-place finish in the previous edition of the tournament, held in Egypt two years ago.

A strong start to their campaign will be crucial in building confidence for the rest of the tournament.

The draw, conducted at the CAF headquarters in Egypt, has thrown up some intriguing match-ups.

Hosts Cote d'Ivoire will face a tough test in Group A, which also includes DR Congo, Ghana, Tanzania, and the winner of the Central Africa zone.

Group C is headed by cup-holders Senegal, who will face Zambia, Kenya, and Sierra Leone.

The top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed finishers, will advance to the quarter-finals.
