INTERVIEW

Q: What are your first thoughts on your transfer to CSKA Moscow. How excited are you ?

Ejuke: I’m excited to make this move and I’m looking forward to contribute my skills to the team, either by scoring or by creating chances for my team mates. Hopefully we can fight to win the league, and have good progress as well in the Europa league.

Q: What prompted your decision to leave SC Heerenveen ? You previously suggested that you would stay.

Ejuke: It was tough to make the decision, but I’m happy to be here now. That’s what I’m going to focus on.

Q: What do you think of the Russian Premier League ?

Ejuke: I think it’s a great step for me and I’m hoping to win a lot with this great club and keep developing as a player. I can’t wait to get started and hopefully make my mark in the league.

Q: Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa was the last Nigerian player to feature for CSKA Moscow before you. Did you speak with him before joining and did the club mention him to you ?

Ejuke: I don’t know him in person actually, but I heard a lot about him when I arrived in Moscow. It’s satisfying knowing that a big Nigerian player left a legacy at a club like this. I’m hoping by God's grace that I can contribute to mine during my period with the club.
