  • Wilfred Ndidi has clinched Leicester City's Goal of the Month award for September for his excellent strike against Southampton in their EFL Championship clash.
  • The Super Eagles midfield dynamo shares the honour with English forward, Stephy Mavididi.

The duo jointly won the award with a solid 26% of the overall votes, surpassing their fellow contenders in the run for the prestigious accolade.

Ndidi's standout moment emerged from his strike against the Saints, earning commendation as one of the best goals netted by any Leicester City player throughout the month.

The 26-year-old midfielder expertly dribbled his opponent, leaving the defender sprawled before effortlessly slotting the ball into the net.

Mavididi's contribution to the victory was equally noteworthy, as he netted a powerful goal against the same opponent.

Swiftly maneuvering from Leicester City's half, Mavididi skillfully evaded his marker before finding the back of the net with a precise strike into the bottom left corner.

Ndidi's remarkable performance this season has been exceptional, particularly under Enzo Maresca's 4-3-3 setup, where he's operated as one of the two attacking midfielders.

Across all competitions, he has notched an impressive seven-goal contribution, comprising three goals and four assists, in 14 appearances.

Ndidi's contribution has helped Leicester City claim ten wins out of 11 games, lifting the Foxes to the top of the Championship.
