ET Awards 2024 Day 2: Echegini, Boniface, and Lookman claim season awards

• Jennifer Echegini, Victor Boniface, and Ademola Lookman have emerged as the winners on Day 2 of the EaglesTracker Awards.

Juventus Women midfielder Echegini scoops the Revelation of the Season award following a scintillating past six months.

The Super Falcons star only finished college in December, graduating with multiple honours at the Florida State University before signing for Juventus in January.

Despite joining the Italian side midway through the season, Echegini adapted straightaway with the Serie A Women, notching ten goals and an assist in 16 appearances. She was voted the Best Young Player in the Division.

After claiming the Forward of the Season award on Day 1, Victor Boniface made it a double win as he was named the Young Player of the Season.

The Super Eagles striker continues to bank on his fantastic debut season in the German Bundesliga, punctuated with two trophies and an unbeaten league season.

While Boniface claims his brace of awards, Ademola Lookman rose to the podium with the Fans' Player of the Season award.

The Super Eagles forward was superb throughout the 2023/2024 season, leading Atalanta to a first-ever UEFA Europa League triumph.

The ETAwards enters Day 3 on Wednesday with the winners of the Women’s Most Valuable Player, Men’s MVP award and the Team of the Season still to be decided.
