24-year old Super Eagles defender, Tyronne Ebuehi has joined Dutch Eredivise club, FC Twente on loan from SL Benfica for the duration of the 2020/2021 season. The deal includes an option-to-buy at the end of the initial loan.

In his first interview with the club, Tyronne said: "It feels great to be here at FC Twente. The conversations I had with the club were very positive and I look forward to playing here. In the past I played with ADO against FC Twente. Twente is a big club and I want to prove myself here, but of course also help the club."

The talented full back and was a part of the Super Eagles squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, but has been dealt several injury blows since then. He has made a total of 6 first team appearances for SL Benfica since the start of the 18/19 season, hence a loan move is surely a step in the right direction and an opportunity to return to his previous standards.
