Nigerian international, Valentine Ozornwafor joined Ligue 2 outfit, FC Sochaux-Montbéliard following the success of his medicals.

Ozornwafor joined Sochaux from Royal Charleroi Sporting Club on a season-long loan with an option to buy.

The 23-year-old becomes the fourth Nigerian to represent the two time Ligue 1 champions with the likes of Wilson Oruma, Brown Ideye and Rabiu Afolabi playing for the side previously.

Ozornwafor played seventeen league games, including sixteen starts, over the course of 1,399 minutes while on loan from Galatasaray to Sporting Charleroi last season.

Sporting Charleroi exercised its right to purchase the youngster at the conclusion of the 2021–2022 campaign.

After the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup, he moved to Galatasaray and was immediately loaned out to Almeria in LaLiga 2.
