GK - ADEBAYO ADELEYE HAPOEL JERUSALEM

Adeleye was one of the standout performers for Hapoel Jerusalem as he made six saves to help them earn a [1-1] draw at home to Maccabi Netanya.

Jamilu Collins showed his defensive nous by making five tackles to help Cardiff City keep a clean sheet in their hard-fought [0-1] away EFL Championship win at Sunderland.

CB - ABEL OGWUCHE - TRELLEBORGS

Abel Ogwuche produced an excellent display as he notched two assists that fired Trelleborgs to an exciting [2-3] away victory over Utsikten in the Swedeish Superettan.

CB - MICHAEL OLOGO - CORUM FK

Despite going down to ten men, Corum FC showed strong defensive resilience to claim a narrow [1-0] win over Sakaryaspor, with Michael Ologo playing a huge part, contributing seven tackles.

RB - BRIGHT OSAYI-SAMUEL - FENERBAHCE

Bright Osayi-Samuel contributed eight tackles and an all-round impressive display to help Fenerbahce keep a clean sheet in their slender [0-1] away Turkish Superlig win at Alanyaspor.

MF - WILFRED NDIDI - LEICESTER CITY

Wilfred Ndidi shone like a million stars for Leicester City as he not only won eight of his duels but also won the penalty that Jamie Vardy converted to hand the Foxes a [1-0] EFL Championship victory over Bristol City.

MF - FISAYO DELE-BASHIRU - HATAYSPOR

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru assisted his side's equaliser and then scored the winner with the last kick of the game to single-handedly lift Hatayspor to a [3-2] Turkish Superlig win over Paul Onuachu's Trabzonspor.

LW - MOSES SIMON - NANTES

Moses Simon had no equal on the pitch as he provided two stunning assists and scored from the penalty spot to inspire Nantes to a thrilling [5-3] French Ligue 1 win over FC Lorient.

ST - ANTHONY UJAH - EINTRACHT BRAUNSCHWEIG

Anthony Ujah rescued Eintracht Braunschweig from falling to a home defeat as he bagged a brace to force visiting Nürnberg to a [2-2] draw in the German 2. Bundesliga.

ST - VICTOR BONIFACE - BAYER LEVERKUSEN - STAR OF THE WEEK

Victor Boniface continued his excellent start to life in the Bundesliga as he scored two goals and completed five dribbles to power Bayer Leverkusen's [4-1] win over Heidenheim.

The youngster also becomes the first Bundesliga player to record 36 shots on goal after five rounds of games and is undoubtedly the Nigerian Star of the Week.

RW - ADEMOLA LOOKMAN - ATALANTA

Ademola Lookman grabbed the opening goal for Atalanta and created two other chances as they strolled to a fine [2-0] Italian Serie A win over Cagliari.
