In the Bundesliga, Victor Boniface and Bayer Leverkusen were impressive in securing their eighth win of the campaign following a [2-1] triumph over Freiburg.

In Serie A, Maduka Okoye was an unused substitute, while Isaac Success played from start to finish as Udinese picked up a [1-1] draw at Monza.

SLOVAKIA

Philip Azango was the hero for Spartak Trnava as his brilliance inspired the visitors to an exciting [2-3] victory at Trenčín in their much-anticipated Super Liga clash.

Azango scored twice - including the winner - and assisted the other goal to loft his side to their sixth win in 12 games.

SPAIN

In La Liga, Umar Sadiq featured for Real Sociedad as Rayo Vallecano struck a late equaliser to force the game to end in a [2-2] draw.

SWEDEN

Goalkeeper, Jonathan Rasheed made six saves and completed a clearance to help IFK Varnamo secure a thrilling [1-3] away win against Kalmar FF in the Allsvenskan.

TURKEY

Paul Onuachu fired a blank for the third consecutive game as Trabzonspor were held to a goalless stalemate at Fatih Karagümrük.

Emmanuel Dennis continued his search for a first goal in Turkey as he was caged during Istanbul Basaksehir's [1-0] defeat at Antalyaspor.

It, however, ended as a pleasant evening for Bright Osayi-Samuel and Fenerbahce as they cruised to a massive [0-5] win against Pendikspor. Osayi-Samuel forced the own goal that led to Fener's opener.
