In the Superliga, Partizani Tirana took down Kastrioti Krujë in a commanding [4-1] victory, with Christian Mba putting the icing on the cake with the final goal.

Over in the Jupiler Pro League, Royale Union Saint Gilloise mounted an impressive comeback to beat KV Mechelen [2-1], thanks to goals from Lapoussin and Teuma, with Victor Boniface playing a starring role.

Gift Orban continued his fine form by providing an assist for a goal and also forcing an own goal as KAA Gent cruised to a [3-0] victory over KAS Eupen.

CZECH REPUBLIC

In the Czech Republic, Wale Musa Alli opened the scoring for Zbrojovka Brno, but ultimately, they fell to FK Jablonec's comeback, with the visitors sealing a [2-1] victory.

GERMANY

In the 2. Bundesliga, Anthony Ujah came up big for Eintracht Braunschweig, providing the assist for the stoppage-time winner in their [0-1] victory over Hannover 96.

GREECE

In Super League, Oghenekaro Etebo put up a valiant effort for Aris, but it wasn't enough to prevent a [1-2] home defeat against PAOK Saloniki on matchday 1 of the playoff round.

In Serie A, Victor Osimhen was unstoppable, scoring a brace of headers to lead Napoli to a resounding [4-0] victory over Torino. With 21 goals this season, he now holds the record for the most goals scored in a single season by a Nigerian in any of Europe's top five leagues.

NETHERLANDS

In the Eredivisie, Calvin Bassey had a tough outing as Ajax fell to a [2-3] home defeat against bitter rivals, Feyenoord, failing to overtake them at the top of the league table.

PORTUGAL

In the Segunda Liga, Abraham Marcus netted a brace as Porto B thumped Leixões [4-0], while in the Primeira Liga, Saviour Godwin starred in Casa Pia's [2-0] home win over Maritimo.

SPAIN

In La Liga, Samuel Chukwueze scored a beautiful volley and had another goal ruled out by VAR as Villarreal cruised to a [3-0] victory over Osasuna, with the 21-year-old winger having contributed to 21 goals (10 goals, 11 assists) in all competitions so far this season.

Meanwhile, Rasheedat Ajibade found the back of the net early on to help Atletico Madrid secure a 3-1 victory at Alhama.

Across town, several defenders, including Super Falcons star, Osinachi Ohale struggled as Deportivo Alaves lost 6-5 to Real Sociedad.

TURKEY

Finally, in the Super Lig, Leke James was in fine form for Sivasspor, while Ahmed Musa came on as a 95th minute substitute in their [2-0] win over Ankaragücü, snapping their four-match losing streak.
