26-year old midfielder, Iyayi Believe Atiemwen has made a return to HNK Gorica three years after leaving the Croatian side.
Atiemwen moved to GNK Dinamo Zagreb from GNK Gorica in 2019 for a fee of €2.65 million, but found it difficult to win a permanent spot in the team.
The Croatian league-leaders have let the Nigerian return to HNK Gorica on loan for the rest of the 2022/2023 season. Atiemwen also expressed his joy, on returning to the Zagreb-based side.
"I am very happy to be here again, in this club, I can't wait to go. I had other offers, more financially generous, but I only wanted to go to Gorica."
Believe makes a return to Gorica after 58 appearances for Dinamo. He also spent time out on loan at NK Lokomotiva and Cypriot club, Omonia Nicosia.
"I didn't come for the money, I came to do my best for the club where I spent some of the most beautiful moments of my career." - Atiemwen said after taking photos in the number 80 jersey.
He played 30 times for HNK Gorica in his first season the club, scoring 12 goals and adding four assists.
