Anderson Esiti joins Ferencvaros from Greek giants
Super Eagles midfielder, Anderson Esiti has joined Ferencvarosi TC in the Hungarian first division on a three-and-a-half year deal.
After a two-and-a-half season at PAOK FC, the 27-year old warri-born holding midfielder departs the Toumba stadium. The transfer was for a reported fee of 1 million euros (or 472,516,088.70 Nigerian Naira).
In the Greek Super League, Esiti is known as 'The Tank'. His aggressive tackling and assured positioning have also earned him three Super Eagles caps in the past.
The interest of the Magyars in the 27-year-old was a way out for PAOK, who wanted to release Esiti sooner. He had not been able to get on the good books of manager, Răzvan Lucescu
Ferencvarosi TC lead the Hungarian NB I by a point, ahead of Puskas Akademia, their fierce rivals.
Esiti could make his debut in their encounter against MTK Budapest on Saturday.
