  • Samuel Chukwueze has resumed team training at AC Milan after recovering from a muscular injury.
  • The Nigerian winger is in contention to feature in Sunday's Serie A clash against Parma, as he looks to revive his season under new manager Sérgio Conceição.

Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze has taken a significant step towards returning to action for AC Milan, resuming team training ahead of Sunday's Serie A clash against Parma.

The 25-year-old winger has been sidelined since the Rossoneri's final match of 2024, nursing a lesion of his left biceps femoris.

However, Chukwueze has now fully recovered from the muscular issue and was pictured training with his teammates on Friday.

The training session was a comprehensive one, involving gym activation exercises, rondos, technical drills focused on ball possession, and tactical preparations for the Parma match.

Chukwueze's return to fitness is a timely boost for AC Milan, who are looking to revive their season under new manager Sérgio Conceição.

The Nigerian winger has struggled to replicate his form from his Villarreal days, managing just six goals and four assists in 55 appearances across all competitions.

Despite concerns about his future at the club, Chukwueze has a fresh opportunity to prove his worth and rediscover his form under Conceição's leadership.

Reports have linked him with a return to Spain or a potential move to the Premier League, but Chukwueze will be focused on making a positive impact at AC Milan.
