OGC Nice made an astonishing seven bids for Moffi before finally landing the 23-year-old on a 6-month loan deal. The deal includes a mandatory option for a permanent transfer in the summer.
Since joining Lorient in 2020, Moffi has scored an incredible 35 goals and laid on seven assists in 90 appearances in all competitions for Lorient.
Thirty-four of those goals have been in Ligue 1, making Moffi the third most prolific Nigerian in Ligue 1 history, behind only John Utaka (59) and Victor Ikpeba (55).
This season alone, Moffi has hit the target 12 times in 18 league games, a tally bettered only by PSG's Kylian Mbappe.
