GK - ADEBAYO ADELEYE - HAPOEL JERUSALEM

Adebayo Adeleye had a comfortable evening in goal for Hapoel Jerusalem, making 2 saves and keeping a clean sheet in their 1-0 league win.

LCB - IZUCHUKWU ANTHONY - AL-KHALEEJ

Izuchukwu Anthony was impressive in the heart of Al-Khaleej’s defence, making 5 clearances as his side kept a clean sheet. He also managed to create 1 goalscoring chance for his side.

CB - HAMDI AKUJOJI - ALMERE CITY FC

Hamdi Akujobi continues his fine season with another appearance in our TOTW. He made 4 tackles and helped his side keep a clean sheet.

RCB - TYRONNE EBUEHI - EMPOLI FC

Tyronne Ebuehi made 4 ball recoveries, 3 clearances and 1 tackle for Empoli as they were held to a late 1-1 draw away at Fiorentina.

LM - SAMUEL CHUKWUEZE - VILLARREAL CF

Samuel Chukwueze scored his second league goal of the season; but could not prevent 10-man Villarreal from a 4-2 defeat away at RCD Mallorca.

CM - KELECHI NWAKALI - SD PONFERRADINA

Kelechi Nwakali ran the show in midfield for SD Ponferradina, winning 7 duels and 2 tackles as they were held to a goalless draw at home.

CM - OGHENEKARO ETEBO - ARIS FC

Etebo continues to show flashes of his former self for Aris. The 27-year old Super Eagles midfielder made 3 tackles, 3 interceptions and created 1 goalscoring chance for his side as they cruised to a [0-3] away league win.

RM - ALEX IWOBI - EVERTON FC

Alex Iwobi had an excellent performance for his side, Everton. He made 6 tackles, 3 dribbles, created 3 goalscoring chances and provided the assist for the only goal of the game, as Everton claimed an important win against Leeds. His performance earns him our Nigerian Star of the Week Honours. 

ST - VICTOR BONIFACE - RUSG

Victor Boniface scored his fifth Belgian Pro League goal of the season and also created 1 goalscoring chance, but could not prevent his side, RUSG from falling to a first league defeat since September 2022. 

ST - ODION IGHALO - AL HILAL FC

Odion Ighalo scored the opener for Al Hilal while also creating 1 goalscoring chance as they cruised to a 3-1 victory to reach the quarterfinals of the AFC Champions League. 

ST - VICTOR OSIMHEN - SSC NAPOLI

Victor Osimhen extended his goalscoring streak in the Italian Serie A to seven games, scoring from an impossible angle in Napoli’s 0-2 victory away at Sassuolo.
