Zaidu Sanusi wins FC Porto their 30th Primeira Liga title

Zaidu Sanusi scored a spectacular stoppage-time winner against Benfica in a 1-0 victory at the Estadio da Luz, to lead Porto to a record 30th league victory.

In a game of historic proportions, Porto visited Benfica, and a win for Porto would secure the club's 30th league title.

The game was extremely close, with tackles flying everywhere. Luis Godinho, the man in the center, had a busy first half, sending out four yellow cards.

Seven minutes into the second half, Benfica thought they had taken the lead, but Darwin Nunez's goal was called out for offside.

Both teams were highly tough, and Godinho was having none of it in the second half, dishing out an additional 10 yellow cards. Despite this, Porto appeared stronger in the second half, having two shots target.

The game's pivotal moment occurred four minutes into stoppage time.

After an unsuccessful Benfica attempt, Porto received the ball and went on a rapid counterattack. Sanusi, with his blistering pace, raced forward to support his Brazilian colleague Pepe, who made a spectacular run from his half.

In a two-v-one situation, Pepe sent a fantastic pass to the onrushing Sanusi, who finished with a spectacular strike into the roof of the goal to give Porto their 30th Primera Liga title.
