Super Eagles Captain Ruled Out Of Friendly Against Algeria

  • Sivasspor FC announced that Ahmed Musa has fractured his left arm
  • He is expected to be out for several weeks

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has been ruled out of the International friendly match between Algeria and Nigeria scheduled on the 27th of September in Oman, Algeria.

He will miss the friendly after sustaining an arm injury while playing for his new Turkish club, Sivasspor, in a Superlig match against Ankaragucu this past weekend.

Captain, Musa becomes the fourth player to be ruled out, alongside Henry Onyekuru, Samuel Chukwueze and Leon Balogun, who were initially on the list of invited players for the friendly.

Super Eagles Head Coach, Jose Peseiro has named Casa Pia forward, Saviour Godwin as his replacement.
