Super Eagles and FC Copenhagen youngster, Akinkunmi Amoo has suffered an injury while training for FC Copenhagen.
The Super Eagles technical crew might have to look elsewhere as the youngster may not be available for the next international friendlies with Mexico and Ecuador in the United States.
Amoo received his first call-up to the senior national team for the March internationals against Ghana and was tipped to be called up for the games against Mexico and Ecuador.
Last week, the 19-year-old sustained an injury on the training field and has been ruled out for the foreseeable future.
In four of FC Copenhagen's past five Danish Superliga matches, he has been left out of the starting lineup.
In all competitions, he has played only 63 minutes out of a potential 1,080 minutes since joining the capital club from Hammarby in the winter transfer market.
Amoo's mother is presently visiting him in Copenhagen to keep him company as he heals from his injuries.
FC Copenhagen still has five games left to play until the conclusion of the season, and it's unclear if the Nigerian will be able to recuperate in time.
