In the Bangladeshi Premier League, Ifeagwu Ojukwu was the hero for Abahani Chittagong as he bagged a brilliant brace in their [3-2] home triumph over Abahani Dhaka. Veteran forward, Emeka Ogbugh impressed for the visitors as he provided the assist to their second consolation goal.

Odion Ighalo missed his spotkick, but was eventually on the winning side, as Al Hilal defeated Al-Wehda to win the Saudi King's Cup


Philip Azango netted the equaliser before Chinonso Emeka added a second-half winner to power AS Trenčín to a thrilling [1-2] win over Kenneth Ikugar and Zlaté Moravce.


In the Superettan, Aliyu Yakubu scored within six minutes of coming off the bench to help AFC Eskilstuna secure a crucial [2-3] victory away to Jönköpings Södra.


2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner, Kenneth Omeruo came off the bench to help Leganes seal a [0-3] away win at Burgos. 


Super Falcons forward, Michelle Alozie came off the bench in the first hald and impressed for Houston Dash, creating 3 goalscoring chances as her side battled to a [2-1] comeback victory over Portland Thorns, in the NWSL.

Uchenna Kanu continues to search for her first goal or assist in the NWSL as she played 73 minutes in Racing Louisville's [3-0] victory over Chicago Red Stars.
