Super sub Iheanacho opens Europa Conference League account in Leicester City's 2-0 win

Leicester City were 2-0 winners over Stade Rennais in the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday night.

Marc Albrighton gave Leicester the lead in the 30th minute but struggled to add to their lead.

Kelechi Iheanacho's late goal put Leicester in a strong position going into the second leg away at Rennes.

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi was on for the entire duration of the game with him making things calm for the foxes back-line.

Patson Daka paved way for Seniorman Kels in the 62nd minute and he justified his introduction by scoring in the 93rd minute.

The 25-year-old shot a well-placed ball beyond Senegalese goalkeeper, Alfred Gomis to score his first on the continent this season.

Super Eagles new boy, Ademola Lookman was an 80th minute substitute in the game as he came on for Harvey Barnes.
