Yira Sor reveals ambition to emulate Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland

Slavia Prague youngster, Yira Sor has spoken about his ambitions for the future, mentioning Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe as examples he wants to emulate.
The 21-year-old who won EaglesTracker's Rookie of the season award believes he can do what the world's best youngsters are doing.
In an exclusive interview with EaglesTracker, he revealed that he believes he can compete for the FIFA World's Best Player of the Year.
“I am someone that dreams big, and I am always confident that I can get to the very best,” Sor said. “I believe, and I think I can get to the level of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland.
“I am so confident and I believe in myself. Whenever I get an opportunity, I try to grab it. I wish to play in the Champions League, I wish someday to represent my country, and maybe win trophies. And then, maybe compete for the best player in Africa, and the Balon d’Or.”
The former Nigerian youth International joined Banik Ostrava of Czech Republic in February 2021 from 36 Lions before signing for Slavia Prague for €1.2 million in January 2022.
Sor has subsequently established himself as a key member of their squad, scoring vital goals for the Czechs.
He was involved in 20 goals (11 goals and 9 assists) in 40 games.
