EaglesTracker Awards 2022 Day 2: Nnadozie, Bassey, Umar and Aribo emerge as winners

Super Eagles and Super Falcons stars were big winners on Thursday night as EaglesTracker rewarded their outstanding performances during the 2021/2022 season.

In bid to recognize the role of every department, EaglesTracker initiated awards for Goalkeepers, Defenders, Midfielders and Forwards.

For the Goalkeeper of the Year, Chiamaka Nnadozie was crowned after defeating Super Eagles duo of Maduka Okoye and Adebayo Adeleye. 

There was never doubt over who would receive the award for the Defender of the Year. Just as expected, Glasgow Rangers' youngster Calvin Bassey won the award.

The man who just got himself the nickname "IRON MAN", Joe Aribo shrugged off competition from Alex Iwobi, Raphael Onyedika, Wilfred Ndidi and Alhassan Yusuf to be crowned Midfielder of the Year. 

And to the very last position in the beautiful game. UD Almeria’s, Umar Sadiq received the award for the Forward of the Season. 

Also on the night, EaglesTracker presented its Team Of The Season.
