GK - DANIEL AKPEYI - MOROKA SWALLOWS FC

The veteran Super Eagles goalkeeper had a solid performance for Morioka Swallows, making a couple saves and keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 win

LB - HAMDI AKUJOBI - ALMERE CITY FC

Hamdi Akujobi returns to our TOTW following an impressive performance for Almere City, where he made 4 tackles and won 7 duels to help his side keep a clean sheet and earn a 1-0 win.

CB - SAMUEL OYEDOBO - FC HEGELMANN

The centre-back was rock-solid in defence, making 7 interceptions while also scoring a goal and helping his team keep a clean sheet in a 2-0 win

CB - SEMI AJAYI - WEST BROMWICH ALBION FC

The 29-year old Super Eagles centre-back put in a solid performance, winning 5 duels and making 3 clearances to help his team keep a clean sheet. He also created 1 goalscoring chance in his side’s goalless draw. 

RB - TYRONNE EBUEHI - EMPOLI FC

CM - KELECHI NWAKALI - SD PONFERRADINA

Kelechi Nwakali continued his impressive run of form with another composed display. He made 4 successful dribbles and also created 4 goalscoring chances as his side were held to a goalless draw.

CM - RAPHAEL ONYEDIKA - CLUB BRUGGE KV

Raphael Onyedika made his presence felt in midfield for Club Brugge, winning 4 duels, making 3 interceptions and creating 1 goalscoring chance as they cruised to a 0-3 win.

The 24-year old striker enjoyed a good outing over the weekend. He created 3 goalscoring chances for his side, before then scoring himself in Goztepe’s 0-2 league win

The 28-year old striker put on a show, scoring 2 goals for Hapoel Nof Hagalil, as they earned a 1-3 league victory.

Nigeria’s latest wondered, Gift Orban continues to shine for KAA Gent. He added 2 more goals to his impressive tally so far while also providing an assist as his side cruised to a 0-5 league win. His outstanding performance earns him our Nigerian Star of the Week honours.
