According to an official statement from the Nigerian Football Federation, interim manager Augustine Eguavoen has assembled a top-notch coaching crew. Fidelis Ilechukwu, head coach of Enugu Rangers, and Daniel Ogunmode of Remo Stars have been selected to assist Eguavoen in plotting the downfall of Benin Republic and Rwanda.

Ilechukwu, who led Rangers to triumph in Nigeria's elite division last season, brings a wealth of experience to the team. Ogunmodede, whose Remo Stars finished second, will also contribute his expertise to the coaching crew. The duo will be joined by Tomaz Zorec, a fitness trainer from Slovenia, goalkeeper trainer Olatunji Baruwa, and match analyst Eboboritse Uwejamomere.

The Super Eagles are expected to kick off preparations for the qualifying matches in Uyo on Monday. The team will face Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Saturday, before departing for Kigali to take on Rwanda on Tuesday.

The first game for the Super Eagles is scheduled to hold on the 7th of September at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo against familiar foes, Benin Republic.
