  • Victor Boniface is set to join Al Nassr after Bayer Leverkusen green light.
  • Talks ongoing on financial package for both player and club.

Super Eagles striker ,Victor Boniface is on the verge of a lucrative move to Saudi Pro League giants Al Nassr, after Bayer Leverkusen decided to negotiate with the Saudi club.

According to Italian journalist and transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, talks are now ongoing on the financial package for both the player and the club.

The Nigerian international did not participate in Bayer Leverkusen's training sessions ahead of their UEFA Champions League encounter with Sparta Prague on Wednesday.

Romano went on to reveal that the Saudi Arabian club's delegation has been in Germany since Monday to negotiate with both the player and Bayer Leverkusen.

The deal is underway, with details still to be discussed for the striker's move to the Middle East.

Despite recently signing a new contract with Bayer Leverkusen, which will keep him at the club until 2029, Boniface appears to be on the verge of a big-money move to Al Nassr.

As the negotiations between Al Nassr and Bayer Leverkusen continue, Boniface's future looks increasingly likely to be in Saudi Arabia.

The Nigerian international was touted by the club as one of the ideal replacements for Brazilian winger Anderson Talisca, who recently sealed a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahçe.
