Oshoala, Ajibade, Nnadozie, Plumptre headline Super Falcons WAFCON squad

Randy Waldrum, the head coach of the Super Falcons, has unveiled a 25-player squad for the 12th Women's Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Morocco from July 2–23, 2022.
 
Asisat Oshoala of FC Barcelona, Ashleigh Plumptre of Leicester City, Rasheedat Ajibade of Atletico Madrid, and other prominent players are among those traveling to Morocco.
 
Nigeria's oldest international and five-time World Cup attendee, Onome Ebi, who turned 39 last month, will lead the Super Falcons as team captain.
 
Nigeria will kick off their campaign against South Africa's Banyana Banyana on Monday, July 4th prior to their subsequent matches against Botswana (July 7th) and Burundi (10th), 
 
Africa will be represented at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand by all four of the semifinalist teams from the competition in Morocco.
 
On Monday, June 27, the group representing the Falcons will leave for Morocco.
 
The Falcons will be looking forward to retain the most coveted trophy in Africa’s women football.
