GK - STANLEY NWABALI - CHIPPA UNITED

Nwabali provided the assist to the match-winning goal with an insane kick-out and then kept a clean sheet to inspire Chippa United's [0-1] away win at Cape Town Spurs.

LB - OLA AINA - NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Aina stood solid for Nottingham Forest, contributing two tackles and winning six duels in their narrow [3-2] defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.

CB - KEVIN AKPOGUMA - HOFFENHEIM

Akpoguma made four tackles, two blocks, and three clearances and won ten of his duels to provide the defensive platform on which Hoffenheim built their thrilling [2-3] away win at Heidenheim on Saturday.

CB - CHIDOZIE AWAZIEM - BOAVISTA

Awaziem continued his early season fine form for Boavista by contributing four tackles, four clearances, and seven won duels in their [1-1] home draw with Casa Pia.

RB - MICHELLE ALOZIE - HOUSTON DASH

Alozie scored one of the best goals of the NWSL this weekend and created another clear chance while remaining defensively firm, adding five clearances, to help Houston Dash battle to a [1-1] draw with Kansas City Current.

MF - IFEANYI MATHEW - FC ZURICH

Mathew was a midfield maestro for FC Zurich, with his two tackles and assist helping the Swiss side scrap out a [1-1] draw at home to St.Gallen

MF - TOBI ALAGBE - ASTERAS TRIPOLIS

Alagbe was influential in the middle of the park for Asteras Tripolis as his assist and three interceptions helped the team run out comfortable [3-0] winners over OFI.

CAM - PHILIP OTELE - CFR CLUJ

Otele was an unstoppable force for CFR Cluj as he scored two well-taken goals that powered his side to a convincing [3-1] over Botosani.

ST - TAIWO AWONIYI - NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Taiwo Awoniyi became the first Nottingham Forest and Nigerian player to score in seven consecutive Premier League matches with his stunning opening goal for the Reds in their defeat against Manchester United.

ST - ABDULLAHI TANKO - BANIK OSTRAVA

Tanko came off the bench at halftime and showed elite finishing qualities as he grabbed both goals in Banik Ostrava's [2-0] victory over České Budějovice.

ST - VICTOR BONIFACE - LEVERKUSEN
