EaglesTracker Awards 2023: Ebuehi, Iwobi triumph on Day 2

• Day 2 of the EaglesTrackerAwards 2023 came to a close, leaving behind a trail of victorious Nigerian footballers who secured esteemed accolades.
• The quartet of Victor Osimhen, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Tyronne Ebuehi, and Alex Iwobi proudly took their places on the podium, basking in the glory of their achievements.

The initial triumph of the evening belonged to Chiamaka Nnadozie, as she was crowned the Goalkeeper of the Season.

Not to be outdone, Tyronne Ebuehi astonished his competitors by seizing the Defender of the Season honour. 

Alex Iwobi, following an outstanding individual campaign at Everton, clinched the title of Midfielder of the Season, standing tall among his peers.

Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen's dominance as the Best Striker in Serie A propelled him to secure the coveted EaglesTracker Forward of the Season award. 

Osimhen, joined by Taiwo Awoniyi and Victor Boniface, spearheaded the attack in the newly revealed Nigerian Best XI of 2022/2023.

This formidable lineup also boasted the talents of Iwobi, Raphael Onyedika, and Chuba Akpom in midfield, while Ebuehi, Kevin Akpoguma, Igoh Ogbu, and Hamdi Akujobi formed a rock-solid defence.

Israel-based goalkeeper, Adebayo Adeleye stood tall between the posts.

The celebration of Nigeria's finest performers from the recently concluded season will persist on Day 3 as the spotlight continues to shine brightly on Nigeria's most exceptional athletes.
