- Italian Serie A sides, Bologna and Torino have joined English Premier League outfit, West Ham, in race for the signature of Super Eagles defender Jordan Torunarigha.
- The former Germany youth international still has two years left on his current contract with KAA Gent.
Nigerian international, Jordan Torunarigha, who has spent the last two seasons in Belgium, is attracting significant interest from several clubs in Italy and England.
Serie A campaigners Monza have expressed keen interest in Torunarigha, but they are not alone in the race. London-based clubs, West Ham United and Crystal Palace are also in the running, while Leeds United's interest has cooled off following their failure to gain promotion to the Premier League.
However, the competition for Torunarigha's signature doesn't end there. According to Tuttomecartoweb Bologna and Torino have recently joined the fray, with the former making an enquiry for the Gent defender.
The Rossoblù's offer of UEFA Champions League football next season could be a tempting destination for Torunarigha, especially considering they finished fifth in the Italian top flight last term to qualify for Europe's premier club competition for the first time since 1965.
The 26-year-old's ball-playing abilities make him an attractive option for clubs in both Italy and England. With his contract expiring next summer, Gent is reportedly willing to let him go for a fee of around €5 million.
The German-born Nigerian was previously on the books of Bundesliga side Hertha BSC.
