Super Falcons forward, Gift Monday has joined UDG Tenerife.
She reportedly penned a three-year contract with the club, making her the most recent Super Falcons player to sign with a Spanish Primera Iberdrola side.
The Nigerian international made a name for herself while playing for FC Robo Queens in the Nigeria Women Football League.
Following the footsteps of Asisat Oshoala and Rashidat Ajibade who passed through the ranks of FC Robo and now Play in the Spanish top flight league for Barcelona Femini and Atletico Madrid Femini respectively.
Gift played for Bayelsa Queens last season on a loan from FC Robo, She was the NWFL Golden Boot and MVP winner last season as she guide her side to win the NWFL title.
She was captain of the Falconets that won Gold at the 2019 African Games Championship, helping the county secure first place finish after twelve years.
In 2020, Monday was ranked seventh in Goal's inaugural top 10 best wonderkids in women's football and the only African on the list, which speaks volumes of her talent.
The 20-year-old was also part of the Super Falcons squad who finished Fourth at the 2022 WAFCON.
