GK - ADEBAYO ADELEYE - HAPOEL JERUSALEM

Adebayo Adeleye was in fine form for Hapoel Jerusalem, making four saves to help them earn a [1-3] come-from-behind away league victory.

CB - CALVIN BASSEY - AFC AJAX

Calvin Bassey put in a good defensive shift in the heart of Ajax’ defence as they were held to a [1-1] league draw. CB3 made 3 successful tackles, 2 interceptions and 12 ball recoveries.

CB - STEPHEN EZE - QUEENS PARK FC

28-year old defender, Stephen Eze was the hero for his side, as his first goal for Queen’s Park FC earned them a hard-fought [1-0] home league win. His impressive performance earned him the Man of the Match award.

CB - CHIDOZIE AWAZIEM - HNK HAJDUK SPLIT

Chidozie Awaziem was in fine form for Hajduk Split, making 4 clearances. 3 ball recoveries, 2 interceptions and then scoring the only goal in their [0-1] away league victory. His stand-out performance earns him our Nigerian Star of the Week Honours.

LM - IBRAHIM SAID - VIBORG FF

20-year old forward, Ibrahim Said was the star of the show for Viborg FF, winning 11 duels, making 5 dribbles, creating 2 goalscoring chances and providing an assist in their [1-1] away league draw against Midtjylland.

CM - ALEX IWOBI - EVERTON FC

Alex Iwobi makes another appearance our Team of the Week. Iwobinho provided an assist for the 3rd game in a row as Everton came from a goal behind to earn a [1-2] away league win at Southampton.

CM - RAPHAEL ONYEDIKA - CLUB BRUGGE KV

Raphael Onyedika put in an excellent midfield shift, completing 91% of his passes, making 8 ball recoveries, 8 interceptions and creating 1 goalscoring chance in Club Brugge’s [3-0] home league win.

RM - JOE ARIBO - SOUTHAMPTON FC

Joe Aribo scored his second English Premier League goal of the season to open the scoring for Southampton as they fell to a [1-2] home defeat against Everton.

LF - CHIDERA EJUKE - HERTHA BERLIN SC

Chidera Ejuke was his usual entertaining self. The 24-year old Super Eagle completed 5 dribbles while creating 2 goalscoring chances. He provided an assist for the 3rd game in a row, as Hertha Berlin were held to a [1-1] home league draw

CF - JOSH MAJA - GIRONDINS DE BORDEAUX

Josh Maja continued his impressive start to the season. The 23-year old scored his 6th goal of the season with a fine finish, while also creating a goalscoring chance in Bordeaux’s [1-2] away league win.

RF - ADEMOLA LOOKMAN - ATALANTA BC

Ademola Lookman scored his second Italian Serie A goal of the season, helping Atalanta earn a hard-fought [1-0] home win over Fiorentina.
