SUPER FALCONS DROP 3 SPOTS IN LATEST FIFA WORLD RANKINGS

Ayotunde Ogala

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have dropped two spots, and are now ranked as the 39th best national team according to the latest edition of the FIFA Women's World Rankings released on December 13, 2019.

The drop comes as no surprise, following some disappointing results for the Super Falcons in recent months.

Most recently, they failed to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics following a away goals defeat vs Ivory Coast over two legs.

See Rankings below.

They are still ranked as the best national team in Africa, with second-placed Cameroon ranked 49th overall.

What do you think of the story ?

Are you disappointed in the drop ? Can they improve next year ?
