GK - AYOTUNDE IKUEPAMITAN - SLAVOJ TREBISOV
The 25-year old shot-stopper was in excellent form, making 6 saves to help his side earn a 0-1 victory and end their run of three winless games.
LB - ZAIDU SANUSI - F.C. PORTO
The pacy full back had an excellent night for Porto, he created the most chances (3) in the match and also won the most duels (9) helping his side keep a clean sheet and earn a 0-1 win.
LCB - JAMILU COLLINS - CARDIFF CITY F.C.
Jamilu Collins continued his impressive start to life in the English Championship, making 4 interceptions and 7 ball recoveries in his side's 1-0 win over Birmingham City.
RCB - AYO OBILEYE - LIVINGSTON F.C
A brick wall in defence, Obieleye made 12 clearances before scoring an 86th minute header to clinch a 2-1 victory over Hibernian.
RB -OLA AINA - TORINO F.C.
The Super Eagles wing-back was impressive, creating one big goalscoring opportunity and making 5 ball recoveries in Torino's 1-2 season-opening victory over AC Monza.
LCM - KELECHI NWAKALI - SD PONFERRADINA
Nwakali had an impressive debut for SD Ponferradina. The 24-year old was a rock in midfield, assisting the opening goal, winning 2 tackles and making 11 ball recoveries in their 1-3 victory over Cartagena.
CM - ALEX IWOBI - EVERTON F.C.
Alex 'Big 17' Iwobi continued his fine start to the 22/23 English Premier League season. He ran the show in midfield, completing 81% of his passes and creating two goalscoring chances as Everton fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa.
RCM - ALHASSAN YUSUF -ROYAL ANTWERP F.C.
Alhassan was solid as usual in the heart of Antwerp's midfield. He made two interceptions, 10 ball recoveries while also creating two goalscoring chances as they snatched a narrow 0-1 win at KAS Eupen.
LF - MOSES SIMON - FC NANTES
Showman, Simon was the star once again for Nantes, scoring the opener and also creating two goalscoring chances as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Lille.
RF - BABAJIDE AKINTOLA- ADANA DEMIRSPOR
The 26-year old winger put in a fantastic display in Adana Demirspor's 3-0 victory over Sivasspor.
He set up compatriot, Onyekuru for their second goal before wrapping up the scoring himself in the 70th minute.
ST - VICTOR OSIMHEN - SSC NAPOLI - STAR OF THE WEEK
Nigeria's starboy, Osimhen, made a fast start to the 22/23 season, scoring one and assisting another in Napoli's 2-5 Italian Serie A victory at Hellas Verona. His impressive efforts earns him our Star of the Week Honours.
