WAFCON 2022: Super Falcons to face Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in Quarterfinals

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will take on the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in the quarterfinals of the 2022 CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations after finishing second in Group C.

South Africa finished Group C winners with the maximum nine points while the Falcons defeated Burundi 4-0 on Sunday, to finish with six points.

Cameroon finished as runners-up in Group B, to setup. a repeat of the 2016 WAFCON final, when Nigeria triumphed 1-0 courtesy of a Desire Oparanozie goal.

The Quarterfinal clash is set for 6pm WAT on Thursday July 14th at the Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca, Morocco.

The winner of this encounter secures an automatic qualification spot for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup taking place in Australia and New Zealand from Thu, Jul 20, 2023 – Sun, Aug 20, 2023.

The loser will have to battle it out in the FIFA Women's World Cup Intercontinental Qualifying Playoffs.

It is no mean feat to be crown a champion….but Super Falcons is definitely a better side. Super Falcons will tame the Lionese. God will give them victory as I prophesies this as a child of God.
