WAFCON 2022: Nigeria to face Zambia in third place playoff

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will take on the Copper Queens of Zambia on Friday July 22, the 2022 CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations third place match.

Zambia suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat in the hands of South Africa on Monday, while the Super Falcons lost 5-4 on penalties to Morocco late on Monday night to set up this losers final.

The "losers' final" is set for 9pm WAT on Friday July 22nd at the Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca, Morocco.

Both teams have already sealed an automatic qualification spot for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup taking place in Australia and New Zealand from Thu, Jul 20, 2023 – Sun, Aug 20, 2023.
