- Club Brugge star Raphael Onyedika has been selected among three other nominees for the Midfielder of the Season award at the EaglesTracker end-of-the-season awards.
Onyedika will be favourites to win the prestigious honour after helping Club Brugge become the champions of Belgium following their triumph in the Jupiler League.
However, Oyedika will face stiff opposition for the award from Hatayspor midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Leicester's Wilfred Ndidi, and Fulham's Alex Iwobi.
Dele-Bashiru notched nine goals and six assists to ensure Hatayspor avoided relegation from the Turkish Super Lig on the final day of the season.
Iwobi showed he is one of the English Premier League's most creative force after registering six goals and two assists in 35 games as Fulham retained their top-flight status. Like Onyedika, the former Arsenal was also at the 2023 AFCON with Nigeria, where the Super Eagles claimed a silver medal.
Ndidi is also a top contender for the award after an excellent season for Leicester City FC.
The Nigeria international recorded six goals and six assists - the most of his career - to help the Foxes finish as the Championship winners and gain promotion to the Premier League.
The winner of the Midfielder of the Season award will be announced on July 1.
