Official: 18 Super Eagles players for Costa Rica friendly

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has announced the names of 18 Super Eagles players that will face Costa Rica in an international friendly on November 10.
All 18 players have been drawn from the local league, the Nigeria Professional Football League.
Top on the list is goalkeeper Kayode Bankole, utility player Dominion Ohaka and dynamic midfielder Afeez Nosiru.
First-choice goalkeeper of the Olympic Eagles (u23 team) Nathaniel Nwosu also makes the squad alongside defenders Daniel Bameyi, Chidiebere Nwobodo, and Evans Ogbonda.
Midfielders Nosiru and Qudus Akanni and forwards Sunday Faleye and Edidiong Ezekiel will equally join the party to Central America.
Super Eagles assistant coach Salisu Yusuf will take charge of the team for the encounter.
The Super Eagles B team has been training at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.
Preparation is set for the team to fly out of Nigeria to Costa Rica on Saturday, 5th November.
The international friendly match, slated for the National Stadium in San Jose, is part of Costa Rica's preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Nigeria did not qualify for the Mundial after failing at the final hurdle against Ghana in March.
