The 22-year-old has only provided one assist this season for Royal Antwerp, but it is only the tip of what he has provided. Yusuf averages 65 touches, three interceptions, two successful tackles, and a 70% pass completion rate per game.
Royal Antwerp have the begun the season in hot form, winning all eight of their Jupiler League games convincingly, and the defensive midfielder has played an essential role, starting in all of those victories.
Yusuf would hope his performances will get him a spot in Jose Peseiro's team for the forthcoming international friendly against Algeria on September 27.
