- The first four winners at the EaglesTracker Awards 2024 have been revealed with Christy Ucheibe, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Raphael Onyedika, and Ademola Lookman clinching different honours.
Christy Ucheibe has been named the Defender of the Season at the prestigious EaglesTracker Awards 2024, which celebrates the most outstanding Nigerian footballers of the 2023/24 campaign.
Ucheibe featured in 35 games and delivered solid performances all year round to help SL Benfica secure four domestic titles in Portugal.

The reigning African Best Women's Goalkeeper made 30 appearances and kept ten clean sheets, lifting Paris FC to qualify for the UEFA Women’s Champions League for the second consecutive year.
After a stellar end to his second year in Belgium, Raphael Onyedika has won the Midfielder of the Season award, ahead of Hatayspor's Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Leicester City's Wilfred Ndidi.
Onyedika played 49 games and scored four goals to inspire Club Brugge to win the Belgian Jupiler League title.
Victor Boniface rounded up the day with the Forward of the season crown following an unforgettable debut season in Germany.
Boniface was involved in 31 goals in 34 games across all competitions to fire Bayer Leverkusen glory in the Bundesliga and German Cup.
