Nigeria's preparations for Mozambique suffer a blow as Osimhen and Iheanacho ruled out

- Nigeria's preparation for their international friendly match against Mozambique has suffered a setback as two key players are set to be unavailable.
- Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho will miss the Super Eagles' game on Monday.
Both players featured as Nigeria played a thrilling 2-2 draw with Saudi Arabia in an international friendly in Estadio Municipal De Portimao on Friday.
Osimhen, Nigeria's most valuable player, started the encounter, while Iheanacho scored the Eagles' second goal after coming on as a substitute.
The Napoli star picked up a knock in that faceoff against the Green Falcons, and he is expected to remain sidelined following an MRI scan to evaluate the extent of his injury sustained.
Iheanacho has also reportedly left the Super Eagles camp to attend to a family emergency.
The absence of Osimhen will force head coach Jose Peseiro to make at least one change in personnel to his starting lineup for Mozambique.
In Victor Boniface, Terem Moffi, and Sadiq Umar, Peseiro has three centre-forwards to call upon on Monday.
Boniface paired Osimhen in the attack against Saudi Arabia, and he was close to getting his first international goal following an impressive display.
The Bayer Leverkusen forward has already been named the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month for the second month running, and he could start again against Mozambique.
Nigeria's Super Eagles have never lost in four meetings against Mozambique, winning three and drawing one while scoring five goals and conceding none.
