Wilfred Ndidi to miss Bournemouth clash, doubtful for Nigeria vs Costa Rica

- Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Wilfred Ndidi will be out of action for a few weeks due to an injury.
Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi will not be available for Leicester City's next Premier League fixture against Bournemouth as he continues his rehabilitation.
Ndidi pulled out of Nigeria's international friendly with Algeria last month following a relapse of the knock he sustained against Tottenham Hotspur, but the former Genk ace somehow recovered to return to the Foxes' starting lineup last weekend during the 4-0 thrashing of Nottingham Forest.
However, he lasted only 45 minutes as Brendan Rodgers sent on Boubakary Soumaré to replace the Nigerian at halftime. The Northern-Irish manager has confirmed that the substitution was due to an injury.
"In terms of the squad, Wilfred Ndidi will probably be out for a little bit," Rodgers told the media while providing a squad update ahead of the weekend clash.
"He came back from international duty with a hamstring strain. He recovered well, but he felt it at half-time in the game, and he was a little sore, so he might miss a few weeks."
If Ndidi does not recover on time, Nigeria could also miss out on the midfielder's services for the international friendly match against Costa Rica next month.
There are at least four more weeks before the Super Eagles faceoff with the Central Americans in San Jose.
Ndidi has not featured for the Super Eagles since Portuguese manager Jose Peseiro took charge of the three-time African champions in July.
