- With eight Ligue 1 goals, Terem Moffi is Lorient's top goalscorer this term
Following the latest market update via Transfermarkt, Super Eagles forward Terem Moffi has reached a career-high market value of €15 million.
Moffi's new estimation sees him valued higher than KRC Genk's Paul Onuachu and Nottingham Forest's Emmanuel Dennis, who are both priced at €14 million.
The rise in worth of Moffi is not unconnected with his excellent start to the 2022-2023 season. The 23-year-old forward has hit an impressive eight goals in 12 Ligue 1 games for FC Lorient.
Only the PSG duo of Kylian Mbappe (11) and Neymar Junior (10) and Lille's Jonathan David (9) have found the back of the net more times than Moffi in the French elite division.
At €15 million, Moffi is now Nigeria's fifth most valuable centre-forward.
Napoli's Victor Osimhen remains Nigeria's number one valued striker at 65 million euros.
Nottingham Forest's Taiwo Awoniyi and Leicester City's Kelechi Iheanacho come in joint-second at €20 million.
Moffi sits directly behind Real Sociedad's Nigerian import Umar Sadiq, whose value is pegged at €18 million.
Cremonese's duo of Cyriel Dessers (€6.5m) and David Okereke (€4.5m), as well as Girondins Bordeaux's Josh Maja (€4m), join Onuachu and Dennis to complete Nigeria's top ten most valuable centre-forwards.
