- Austrian Bundesliga outfit, LASK Linz have completed the signing of exciting Nigerian attacker, Moses Usor on a year-long loan from Slavia Prague.
Usor arrived at Slavia Prague's youth team in April last year after emerging as a promising prospect at Abuja-based academy, 36 Lions FC.
The youngster settled down quickly in the Czech Republic and was promoted to the Slavia Prague first team three months later, ahead of the 2022/2023 season.
The Slavists unleashed Usor in the UEFA Champions League group stage qualifiers, where the 20-year-old impressed with two goals and one assist in six appearances. A left-footed winger who prefers playing from the right and cutting in to shoot, Usor proved a handful for defenders in the Czech Fortuna Liga, notching four goals and one assist in 15 games.
Usor will get more chances to continue his development in the Austrian top flight after joining LASK Linz. LASK Linz currently sit third in the Austrian Bundesliga, twelve points adrift of leaders, RB Salzburg.
Usor becomes the third Nigerian player to end their association with Slavia Prague in this January. Jet-heeled forward, Yira Sor sealed a multimillion-euro move to Genk earlier in the month, and days after, it was announced that compatriot Peter Olayinka had agreed to leave Slavia for Partizan on a free transfer at the end of the season.
