The 22-year old shot stopper was in fine form for his side over the weekend, making 4 saves and keeping a clean sheet in their narrow league win.
LCB - CALVIN BASSEY - AFC AJAX
The 22-year old Super Eagles defender continued his fine start to life in Holland. He made 2 successful tackles, 2 clearances while completing 98% of his passes and keeping a clean sheet in Ajax’s big win over SC Heerenveen.
CB - IGOH OGBU - LILLESTROM SK
Ogbu continued his fine start to the season in Lillestrom’s hard-fought win over Stromsgodset. The 22-year old made 13 ball recoveries and was the most accurate passer on the night.
RCB - CHIDOZIE AWAZIEM - HNK HAJDUK SPLIT
Awaziem is settling into life at his new club, and performances like the one over the weekend can only help. He made 3 successful tackles, won 7 duels, made 8 interceptions and 10 ball recoveries in an all-round impressive display.

EaglesTracker’s Player of the Month for August has not slowed down in September so far. The Super Eagle scored the second goal of the game for Nantes while also creating a goalscoring chance in their Ligue 1 encounter against Lorient.
CF - CHUKWUBUIKEM IKWUEMESI - NK CELJE
Ikwuemesi was the catalyst for his side over the weekend. He scored two well-taken goals to help his side overturn a 2-goal deficit and earn a hard-fought 4-3 home league victory. His impressive display earns him our Nigerian Star of the Week Honours.
RF - SAVIOUR GODWIN - CASA PIA AC
