OFFICIAL: Super Falcons Midfielder Joins Fenerbahçe SK on Two-Year Deal

• Super Falcons Midfield Regina Otu has made the switch to Turkey Joining Fernabahçe SK on a free transfer.
• The 28-year-old was released from AS Saint Etienne, following the expiration of her contract.

Through a statement on their official website, Turkish giants, Fenerbahçe SK have confirmed the signing of Super Falcons midfielder, Regina Otu on a free transfer. The versatile midfielder joins the Yellow Canaries after being released from French Division 1 Féminine outfit, AS Saint-Etienne, last season.

The 28-year-old had an eventful season whilst at her former club, starting all twenty of the Club's league games, registering a goal along the way. Subsequently, she was released alongside compatriots Yewande Balogun and Amanda Mbadi, following the expiration of their contracts. 

A pivotal member of the Nigerian Women’s National Team, the Super Falcons, She has last featured for the record African champions in an international friendly game in April 2023 where the team thrashed New Zealand by a 3-0 scoreline. 

However, she was among the four Alternate players selected by Coach Randy Waldrum for the Paris 2024 Olympics where the Super Falcons exited the showpiece in the group stages, after failing to win all three games in a Group which featured World champions Spain, Brazil and Japan.

Before Ending her three-year association with AS Saint Etienne, She was formerly on the books of Belarusian Premier League side FC Minsk, where she teamed up with Veteran Onome Ebi.
