OGENYI ONAZI JOINS DENIZLISPOR

27-year old Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi has joined 11th place Turkish Super Lig side, Denizlispor. He made the announcement via his official Instagram page.
He makes the transfer from one Turkish Super Lig club to another,
The holding midfielder leaves the companionship of fellow Nigerian teammates, John Obi Mikel annd Anthony Nwakaeme at Trabzonspor, to sign for Denizlispor on a free transfer.
His contract at Trabzonspor was set to expire in June, 2020.
The deal includes an initial contract until the end of the 2019/2020 season, with a club option to renew for a further year.
Onazi, who only returned to action in December, 2019, following a lengthy spell on the sidelines with an ACL injury, will be hoping to earn a spot in the starting XI and get his career back on the right track.
He could make his debut tomorrow, Thursday Jan 16, 2020, when they face his former side Trabzonspor, in the Turkish Cup Round of 16.
