- Galatasaray agrees to personal terms with Nigerian midfielder, Raphael Onyedika, on a five-year contract, pending a transfer agreement with Club Brugge.
- The 23-year-old's potential move to Galatasaray would reunite him with Super Eagles teammate, Victor Osimhen, who recently joined the Turkish club on loan from Napoli.
Turkish champions Galatasaray are on the verge of securing a double Nigerian swoop, with Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika set to join Victor Osimhen at the club.
Following Osimhen's loan move from Napoli, Galatasaray have agreed personal terms with Onyedika on a five-year contract, according to Belgian Journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who played a crucial role in Club Brugge's Jupiler Pro-League triumph last season, is eager to join forces with Osimhen in Istanbul.
However, the Turkish outfit still needs to reach an agreement with Club Brugge, who rejected their initial bid.
Onyedika has been a standout performer for Club Brugge this season, starting every match he's been named in and scoring three crucial goals in the playoffs.
Despite attracting interest from Crystal Palace and Barcelona, a move away from Bruges has yet to materialize.
Galatasaray's pursuit of Onyedika highlights their ambition to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
As the transfer window draws to a close, Onyedika will be hoping that Galatasaray can secure a deal with Club Brugge, allowing him to join his international teammate Osimhen in Turkey.
