Echegini pens emotional goodbye message to Juventus ahead of PSG move

- Jennifer Onyinye Echegini has officially announced her departure from Juventus Ladies after just six months with the team.
- The Super Falcons star took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the news and hinted at a possible move to French club PSG.
Echegini, who won the eBay MVP award for the best Under 23 player in the women’s Serie A last month, scored 10 goals and made one assist in 14 matches.
Echegini wrote: "I wanted to take this moment and share my gratitude for the time we have shared. Despite all that may have been said I’m extremely grateful to have been a part of this family. Living and playing in Turin has been an amazing journey filled with a lot of growing and learning for me. I will cherish these memories and carry them on to my next journey.
"Thank you to my teammates and coaches for making me feel part of the family. Working alongside dedicated and inspiring women has been the most rewarding experience. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
"Lastly, thank you for your unwavering support throughout the season."
Echegini began her youth career at Arsenal and had spells with two clubs in the US while studying before arriving in Turin in January.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder was also part of the Nigeria women’s team that reached the Round of 16 in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and made the Paris 2024 Olympic team.
