David Okereke set for return to Club Brugge

The Italian top flight is down to its last four rounds, and the Winged Lions will need a miracle to avoid relegation.
According to Calcio Mercato, if Venezia FC is demoted from Serie A at the end of the season, David Okereke will not be given a permanent contract.
Okereke joined Venezia on a season-long loan from Belgian champions Club Brugge in August, after bagging promotion to the Italian top flight via the play-offs.
He has not been a flop in Italy, with six goals and one assist in 29 Serie A matches – the third-highest goal output of any Venezia player.
Despite the 24-year-old's contribution, Venezia are still rooted to the bottom of the league standings, six points adrift of safety with only four games remaining.
With a return to Serie B becoming more likely by the day, Venezia are refusing to use their option to sign Okereke on a permanent basis.
The possibility of returning to Club Brugge, where he only appeared in one league match last season, would not excite the Nigerian striker.
